I am a Nurse Practitioner with Counties Manukau Health, providing youth health services in a range of Secondary Schools, and support to Registered Nurses in School Based Health Services. In 2016 I led the Youth Friendly Primary Care Quality Improvement Program in Counties Manukau, and prior to this was the lead nurse at Aorere College for 5 years. I have also worked for Health Connections, Family Planning, Kidz First, the Centre for Youth Health, and as nursing lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology, leading the delivery of the Introduction to Nursing in a Community Setting paper. I grew up and still live in Manukau, my husband and I are currently adjusting to the increasing independence and self sufficiency of our children aged 18 and 23.
