MĀNGAI WHAKATIPU | TOHU WHAKAARO
Ngā Kupu | hei māngai mo ngā uri whakatipu”
‘Representative of the descendants‘, ‘voices for the generations to come’, voices of the future’.
Recognising that the best outcomes for youth come when youth voices are included not just as a sample or focus group but as an equal partner has been vital.
Māngai Whakatipu (previously known as the Youth Advisory Group) work with Te Whatu Ora and partners for School Based Health Services Enhancement programme. Māngai Whakatipu ensure rangatahi voice is the forefront of the programme, and provide advice and support as a critical partner for the journey ahead.
