We’re looking for a highly skilled bookkeeper to join our youth health organisation and play a vital role in keeping our financials in perfect balance so we can continue to make a real difference for our young people.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Handling accounts payable and receivable like a pro 

• Managing payroll and invoicing with flawless precision 

• Reconciling bank accounts and keeping financial records spotless 

• Maintaining the fixed asset register and tracking depreciation  

• Ensuring tax compliance, including GST and PAYE 

• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial reporting 

• Being the go-to person for any financial queries 

What we’re looking for: 

• Experienced: at least 4 years of experience under your belt 

• Xero savvy: proficiency in Xero software is a must! 

• Detail-oriented: you spot errors others might miss 

• Independent & reliable: you work well on your own and always meet deadlines 

• Problem solver: able to provide clear solutions and advice on a wide range of bookkeeping and finance-related questions 

• Great communicator: you can explain financial details clearly to ensure everything runs smoothly 

Applicants for this position should have the right to work in New Zealand having either NZ citizenship, permanent residency or a valid NZ work visa and be currently residing in New Zealand.
