- To promote the health and wellbeing of all young people in Aotearoa New Zealand.
- To promote interest in and improvement of youth health clinical practice.
To promote the development of a capable and sustainable youth health workforce.
What We Do
SYHPANZ aims to improve the health and wellbeing of young people, aged 10-24 year, in New Zealand.
SYHPANZ does this by facilitating, promoting, supporting and furthering the knowledge, skills and scope of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals working with young people.
SYPHANZ also works to ensure that young people can access health professionals with specialist skills by working with professional bodies and colleges in the New Zealand health sector to enable health professionals to meet clinical practice competencies and standards in youth health.
