Transitional housing for city's youth
A proposed youth hub can't come soon enough for a social agency grappling to keep up with an unprecedented number of clients.
For the last two months, 298 Youth Health Service had been forced to close its books, as hundreds of young people sought its medical and counselling help.
"Every month we close for a review and then we open up again. We try to stay open to the most vulnerable people," said Korowai Youth Well-Being Trust chairperson and director of the 298 Youth Health Service Dr Sue Bagshaw.
